Path of the Beast is the path where the rage physically changes your body — claws burst from your hands, fangs lengthen, a tail whips out — and you fight with whichever natural weapon suits the moment instead of relying purely on steel. It’s built for barbarians who want to feel like the monster in the room, with weapons that can’t be disarmed and, eventually, a body that keeps some of that monstrousness even when the rage fades.

Path of the Beast Features
Level 3 — Form of the Beast
While raging you can manifest Bite (a d6 piercing weapon you can also feed on for a bit of healing), Claws (a d6 slashing weapon you can dual-wield without a feat), or a Tail (a reach weapon that also adds to your AC), swapping which one is active whenever you rage again so the natural weapon fits the fight in front of you.
Level 6 — Bestial Soul
Your natural weapons get meaner and gain a use tied to whichever you have out — Bite starts counting as magical and gains bonus damage, Claws lets you climb and swim at full speed, and Tail can lash out as a bonus-action attack — pushing the natural weapons from a novelty into a real damage source.
Level 10 — Infectious Fury
Landing a natural weapon hit lets you either force the target to attack another creature of your choice or deal your rage bonus damage a second time to a nearby foe, so a single successful swing can start dragging enemies into fighting each other.
Level 14 — Call the Hunt
You can share a sliver of the beast with the whole party — a number of allies equal to your Strength modifier gain temporary hit points and advantage on their next attack whenever you score a critical hit — turning your monstrous form into a group buff, not just a personal one.
