ValourBard Bardic College — D&D 5e
College of Valour bards leave the salon for the battlefield, trading finesse for front-line grit — this is the rare bard build that wants to be in the scrum trading blows, not calling instructions from the back row.

Valour Features
Level 3 — Combat Proficiencies
Medium armor, shields, and martial weapons turn a Valour bard from a squishy support caster into someone who can actually hold a spot in the front line.
Level 3 — Combat Inspiration
The inspiration die stops being just a boost to checks and can now be added to an attack or damage roll, or slapped onto AC as a reaction against an incoming hit — free defense on demand for whoever's about to get clobbered.
Level 6 — Extra Attack
Two weapon attacks per Attack action means a Valour bard finally hits like a real melee class instead of a caster who occasionally swings a rapier.
Level 14 — Battle Magic
Casting a bard spell now comes with a free weapon attack as a bonus action, so one turn can land a spell and a hit instead of forcing a choice between them.
