SamuraiFighter Martial Archetype — D&D 5e
Samurai trades the Battle Master’s toolkit for raw, repeatable clutch — a short-rest resource that grants advantage on every attack this turn plus a pile of temporary hit points, on demand, whenever the fight turns against you. It’s the simplest fighter subclass to play and one of the hardest to actually kill, since the class is built to shrug off the exact moment most characters go down.

Samurai Features
Level 3 — Fighting Spirit
As a bonus action, up to three times per short rest, you can grant yourself advantage on every attack roll you make until the end of the turn and immediately gain temporary hit points, giving you an on-demand comeback button for both offense and survival in the same package.
Level 7 — Elegant Courtier
Proficiency in Wisdom saves and the ability to add your Wisdom modifier to Intimidation checks let you glare down an enemy commander as effectively as you cut one down, and once per short rest you can grant an ally advantage on their next save by making a display of your discipline.
Level 15 — Tireless Spirit
If you roll initiative and have no uses of Fighting Spirit left, you regain one immediately, so — like the Battle Master’s Relentless — you can never be caught starting a fight completely without your signature resource.
Level 18 — Rapid Strike
While a Fighting Spirit attack has advantage, you can forgo the advantage on any of those attacks to squeeze in one extra weapon attack instead, letting a single activation turn into more total swings when you can afford to trade accuracy for volume.
