Swarmkeeper is the strangest ranger option on offer: instead of a companion creature or extra spells, you bond with a living swarm — bats, bees, spiders, whatever theme you pick — that swirls around you and answers your will. It reads less like a hunter and more like a battlefield controller who happens to carry a bow, shoving enemies around and repositioning allies with the swarm itself.

Swarmkeeper Features
Level 3 — Gathered Swarm
You choose a swarm theme that wreathes you in motion, and you can spend it to shove a nearby creature away, yank one closer, or sting it for a small amount of damage.
Level 3 — Swarmkeeper's Sense
You can briefly see and hear through your swarm, letting it scout a corner or a crowd without putting your own body at risk.
Level 7 — Swarm Roam
As a bonus action your swarm grants you a flying, climbing, or swimming speed, turning terrain that used to slow you down into a non-issue.
Level 11 — Writhing Tide
The push, pull, and sting your swarm deals all scale up in range and damage, so the same control trick from level 3 starts hitting like a real battlefield tool.
Level 15 — Swarm's Age
Your swarm reaches its full strength, hitting harder and wider while also being able to wrap around you defensively when things get dangerous.
