the Great Old OneWarlock Otherworldly Patron — D&D 5e
Warlocks bound to the Great Old One serve something so vast and alien it may not even register that they exist — a presence from beyond the stars whose favor arrives as fragments of incomprehensible knowledge rather than a clear bargain. It’s the patron for players who want their power to feel unsettling rather than heroic.

You can speak mind-to-mind with any creature you can see nearby, a permanent thread of telepathy your patron opened in your skull.
Level 1 — Thought Shard
Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an attack, you can lace the blow with an alien whisper that deals extra psychic damage.
Level 6 — Thought Shepherd
You can reach into a creature’s mind from a distance to plant a suggestion or skim its surface thoughts, a quiet trick your patron finds endlessly amusing.
Level 10 — Mind Ward
You gain resistance to psychic damage, and any creature that charms or frightens you suffers a jolt of psychic backlash for the attempt.
Level 14 — Bound Servant
You can briefly conjure a tethered duplicate of yourself woven from your patron’s substance, useful for scouting or springing a distraction while your real body stays safe.
